The lime contained in the water may be deposited in the boiler and on the heating elements and will cause breakdowns. We therefore recommend the use of the binding agent VEIT Lapidon if the water hardness exceeds 5°dH (German hardness). The binding agent prevents deposits of lime. The lime will be removed from the boiler during blow-down.
