A future of Values

At VEIT, we put people first. Be it a staff member, a customer, a supplier or partner – when we team up, we are successful.

The vision tells us WHERE we want to go. Values guide us and tell us HOW to get there. Values are characteristics that are important and VALUABLE to us. Values are ideals we want to achieve and that set the mindset for our actions.

Staff from all our departments have worked together to define eight shared values that reflect our corporate culture.

Appreciation begins within ourselves. Regardless of deeds, performance, origin and our role in the company structure, we are on an equal footing. At VEIT, we put people first.

We are friendly. That creates trust and a feeling of belonging.

We have the courage to change. We are open for innovation and learn from experience.

Empathy means we are able to take other people's perspectives, and to try and understand.

Teamwork

Working together means acting, thinking and communicating across the teams and departments. We focus on our common targets.

Responsibility

We have the know-how and the power needed for our tasks. We treat people, resources and our environment in a thoughtful and far-sighted manner.

Enthusiasm

We are enthusiastic about VEIT as a company and about our tasks. We want to carry others along, and encounter any negative aspects with a positive mindset.

Honesty

In dealing with each other, transparency, self-reflection, sincerety and fairness matter. We talk with each other, not about.

Showing the way

Each and every hour of our lives is unique. We spend about 80,000 hours of our lifetime working, so this time should be valuable and fulfilling for us. However, the world is moving ever faster. Pressure is growing, and important values are not so much in our focus anymore: Why are we doing the things we do, and in what way? What makes us strong as a team? How meaningful is our work? And how do we want to add value to our relationships at the workplace?

As a value-centred company, we strive to lead by example and show desirable alternatives for others. An example that encourages and supports. Thus, our work is of sustainable value. Our customers will fell that, too, and enjoy their business with us.
